You Are Not Your Struggles

Have you ever dealt with an issue in life where you started to believe that it was scripted for you to live?  If you answered yes to this question, I would like to reassure you that you are not what you have gone through.

Oftentimes, when people experience various issues or situations over a long span of time they begin to believe that what they experienced is somehow connected to them not fulfilling their God-given purpose.

If you fall within this category I would like to say to you that you aren’t your struggle.  You are not failure, despair, hopelessness, bitterness or loneliness.  Whatever struggles you have identified with, battled with or wrestled with in your life, I say to you that you are not your struggle and your struggle is not you. I know that when you defeat an issue that has troubled you, you feel powerful and hopeful for the future. However, when you take 5 steps forward the enemy is always there to take you 10 steps back. Overcoming your fears of not knowing what’s next in life can always bring anxiety and depression. But you must ALWAYS remember that God is right there by your side, leading you down the path that He has created. Keep in mind that God hears your cries and knows your heart’s desire.

Make sure to never be anxious for anything. Stay hopeful. In the midst of your waiting keep working towards your goals. If you don’t take anything away from this article, let this statement resonate within your mind and spirit that God has placed a greater call, destiny and purpose on your life and that he will take everything negative and every undesirable thing in life and use it for good and for His glory!

In the comment section below, tell me your testimony of a hardship you’ve overcome and how God has blessed you.
