Are you currently experiencing a particular season in your life and it seems as if it will not end?
Well, I have good news for you: seasons do change. In comparison, the seasons of life are like the seasons that transpire in the weather system: spring turns into summer; summer turns into fall (autumn), and fall turns into winter. During each stage of the seasons changing there is something to be gained and things that will fall off. For instances, during the springtime the weather turns from cold to warm and flowers blossom. On the other hand during the winter months the trees lose their leaves and the weather is cold and sometimes frigid in some places.
In either instance there is a trade-off.
The same holds true for the seasons that occur in our lives. There are seasons when we will experience drought and famine in the areas of our finances, our creative ability or in our relationships and there are other times when we will experience seasons of plenty and more than enough. The trade-off in life during times of famine is that you depend more on God and less on man and during times of plenty you remember where your help comes from.
Nevertheless it is comforting to know that according to Ecclesiastes 3:1 “there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” With this assurance of scripture you can be confident to know that whatever season you are currently facing in your life it is subject to change. And that God’s promises for you will never falter because in him everything is yes and Amen!
