Change on the Horizon

In a time when there are so many complex issues looming before the very eyes of humankind, the question arises: What is God up to? As we move forward in life with uncertainty of what the future holds, we should consider the words from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8(NKJV) as partial fulfillment to this proposed question:

To everything, there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:

 A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
 A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
 A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
 A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
 A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
 A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
 A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.

Although, it is hard for many of us in America to fathom what time we are living in and what the next four years will be like we must trust and believe that all things will work out for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.  Therefore, in spite of the fact that changes are on the horizon in the land of the free and home of the brave continue to strive to be the change that you wish to see in the world and live your life to the fullest without allowing the negativity of man to rob you of the promises of God.
