Have you ever wondered if you were truly living out your best life or simply living life on survival mode?
There are many people who tend to live out their life pretending that nothing bothers them. Oftentimes, these individuals hide the fact that they are miserable and secretly living with anger, pain and hurt from their past. Furthermore, these individuals will inadvertently inflict the same type of hurt and pain on others that was originally thrust upon them. On the other hand, some individuals within this same vain will remain in the safe zone by allowing scabs to grow over their open wounds as a means to cope and survive the hurt and pain from their past.
Needless to say, people of this nature fail to realize that they will never be free to fully live out a well-rounded and prosperous life until they: 1.) acknowledge the hurt and pain of their past, 2.) confront and address their hidden issues, 3.) forgive those persons who may have hurt them or inflicted pain on them, 3.) forgive themselves, 4.) determine that they will never be consumed by anger anymore and 5.) seek professional help, if needed.
It is far better to learn to let go of your pain then to allow it to secretly fester within your memory bank or spirit.
